Rotation was first established in April 2004 when it collaborated with Guildford college on a charity night helping to raise money for The Malcolm Sergeant cancer fund for children. Thanks to a huge amount of promotional work and extensive planning for the event it was a huge success rounding up just over 650 people through the doors, and raising an astonishing £2500 for the charity. Ever since this first event Rotation saw an opportunity for the ultimate regular drum and bass party for Surrey and South England.

Rotation has since continued to bring a diverse selection of the most respected drum and bass artists in the scene to Guildford and beyond. With every event going from strength to strength the Rotation crew provide a vibe that is unbeatable and is recognized by each artist and individual that attends th event. Rotation is proud to say it has held a series of successful productions all held at Time nightclub (Guildford), Herbal (London), The Boileroom (Guildford), Quake Club (Woking), Clockwork (London), The Fridge (London) and Platform 9 (Guildford).

Rotation is also now working alongside Essence of Chi and had joint involvement hosting a room at the renowned Innovation in the Sun Festival for the first time in 2008 which was a massive success and will continue to happen for most Innovation events in the London area and abroad. Rotaion has also been privileged enough to work alongside Breakin Science and Definition. Rotation and Essence of Chi are also brinigng you a series of collaboration parties in london at Hidden Club in Vauxhall, so make sure you keep your eyes open for flyers and events happening near you.
